ASUS Eee Slate EP121 Tablet PC – Tablet PC Comparison

Slate existed long before Apple and Google completely reinvented the category of the tablet, where the only solution at this time was a Windows operating system. Asus, who hopes to capitalize on the boom of the tablet, is to ensure that life in Windows on their slates, leaving no ground uncovered. In addition to its Eee Output Pad today at CES, Asus introduced the Eee EP121 board. While the device is a tablet as their counterparts in other Eee, the council on the docks to a huge 12.1 inches. Moreover, unlike the rest of the line Eee, this tablet works with Windows 7.

The EP121 is one of the greatest tips, you’ll see unveiled at the show, with a screen of 12 inches and weighs 2.5 pounds. The other method of entry is a physical keyboard Bluetooth, sold separately. A set of features of the notebook type is essential to any Windows PC, so that the EP121 comes with a USB 2.0, mini HDMI (type C), an SD card reader and a camera 2 Megapixels before. For storage, the options are only SSD of 32 GB or 64 GB capacity.

The only concern now is the size of the battery: The EP121 comes with a 36WH (3 cells), whose experience will be lucky to have four hours on one charge.

The slate looks like everything will be marketed to businesses and professionals, as the Bluetooth wireless keyboard and multiple input options for creating content have been announced in the press conference today u2019s%. It is presented as versatile, and the show included one of the basic Photoshop, while a 1080p HD video work in the background. The system works so well that you u2019d% expect a PC powerful enough for the home, but the show did not show any increased ability of this type of device may have on the typical machine. However, Photoshop and video were able to operate simultaneously without any installation .
